論「謂若離續縷至不可得故」，重釋離縷無別衣也。謂縷上有青、黃等色，毛㲲等類，御寒業等用。別有衣上色、類、業別不可得故。若衣與縷體性別者，即應三種亦應各別。既三無別，故知無別，同旋火輪。

The treatise says: "Because apart from the continuous threads … cannot be found." He re-explains that apart from the threads there is no separate cloth. That is, on the threads there are colors such as blue and yellow, classes such as wool and cotton, and functions such as warding off cold. A separate color, class, and function on the cloth cannot be found. If the substance of the cloth were distinct from the threads, then these three kinds should also each be distinct. Since these three are not distinct, we know there is no distinction, just like a whirling firebrand.
