論「有餘說彼至得獨勝名」，第二釋。先修聲聞順決擇分，後無佛時入於見道，名獨覺也。
On the Śāstra's text, "Others say that they... obtain the name pratyekajina": The second explanation. Having previously cultivated the śrāvaka's aids to penetration (nirvedhabhāgīya), later in a time without a Buddha they enter the path of vision (darśanamārga), being named a pratyekabuddha.
