論「彼經但據至故不相違」，釋通經也。見所斷心不能為近因等起，能為前因等起。據前因等起，說因邪見故起邪思惟、邪語、邪業及邪命等。論說近因，故不相違。

The treatise says: "That sūtra is merely based on ... up to ... therefore there is no contradiction." This harmonizes with the sūtra. The mind abandoned through seeing cannot be a proximate motivating cause, but it can be an antecedent causal motivating factor. In reference to the antecedent causal motivating factor, it is said that due to wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, and wrong livelihood arise. The treatise speaks of the proximate cause; therefore there is no contradiction.
