The treatise says: "If it is like the initiator ... up to ... all can act as initiators." This points out the flaw of being like the initiator. If it were like the initiator, since the mind abandoned through seeing is accepted as an initiator, and the views of individuality and extremes are veiled indeterminate states abandoned through seeing, then being like the initiator, there would have to be veiled indeterminate manifest actions in the desire realm, which contradicts their own tenet. Or else, one would have to make a distinction: within those abandoned through seeing, the views of individuality and extremes cannot act as initiators, while the remaining ones abandoned through seeing can act as initiators.
