13.84

論「又非自作至此性無異故」，第四證也。若無無表，但遣他為殺生等事，應不成業道。正遣他殺時，自業非殺故，自遣他表不能殺故。更作殺時，自教他業如前無異故。

On the treatise's statement, "Furthermore, if one does not act oneself ... because this nature does not differ": this is the fourth proof. If there were no non-information, simply dispatching another to commit killing and the like would not constitute a course of karma. When one actively dispatches another to kill, one's own action is not killing, because one's own informative act of dispatching another cannot itself kill. When the other further carries out the killing, one's own action of instigating the other is no different from before.
