13.88

論「此依先時至無相違過」，有部通也。此依先時已得世間諸有漏道定共色說，非是欲說定前語等語以為道支，故無過失。

On the treatise's statement, "This relies on what was previously ... there is no contradiction": the Sarvāstivādin resolves the objection. This is said in reliance on the matter associated with meditation belonging to worldly polluted paths that had already been attained previously; it is not meant to say that the speech and so forth prior to meditative absorption are the path factors. Therefore, there is no error.
