論「何緣世尊於律儀處」，已下第四明立支所以。文中有三：一明離邪行所以、二明離虛誑語所以、三明離飲酒所以。半頌即初文也。

On the passage in the treatise: "For what reason did the World-Honoured One, regarding the points of restraint (saṃvarasthāna)": below is the fourth section, clarifying the reason for establishing the branches. Within the text there are three points: first, clarifying the reason for abstaining from sexual misconduct; second, clarifying the reason for abstaining from false speech; third, clarifying the reason for abstaining from drinking alcohol. The half-verse is the first point.
