14.39

論「誰成就何律儀」，已下第四明成就也。文中有四：一明成三律儀人、二文便明斷律儀、三因論生論明意根律儀、四明成就時分。此下一頌明成就三律儀人也。

The treatise says: "Who possesses which discipline?" From here down is the fourth [part], explaining possession (samanvāgama). Within the text there are four parts: first, explaining the persons who possess the three disciplines; second, opportunely explaining the discipline of abandoning (prahāṇa-saṃvara); third, by digression, explaining the discipline of the mental faculty (manas) and sense faculties (indriya); fourth, explaining the divisions of time of possession. This subsequent single verse explains the persons who possess the three disciplines.
