14.7

論「初律儀相差別云何」，自此已下有十三段：一明別解脫相、二安立四律儀、三明律儀眾名、四明成就、五明得三律儀、六明善惡戒邊際、七明近住、八明近事、九明所得處、十明支因、十一明惡戒處中、十二明捨、十三明處。此第一明別解脫相也。

On the Śāstra's statement: "What are the distinguishing characteristics of the initial saṃvara?": From this point below there are thirteen sections: 1. explaining the characteristics of prātimokṣa; 2. establishing the four saṃvaras; 3. explaining the multiple names of saṃvara; 4. explaining possession; 5. explaining the acquisition of the three saṃvaras; 6. explaining the limits of wholesome and unwholesome morality; 7. explaining upavāsa; 8. explaining upāsaka; 9. explaining the bases of acquisition; 10. explaining the branches and causes; 11. explaining unwholesome morality and the intermediate; 12. explaining abandonment; 13. explaining bases. This is the first, explaining the characteristics of prātimokṣa.
