15.24

論「如是受者至相似妙行」，總結也。若作上五種定限，律儀不發，但得妙行。諸經中說得戒者，是引接言。

On the Śāstra's: "One who receives [precepts] in this way... similar good conduct", this is the summary conclusion. If one makes the above five kinds of fixed limitations, the discipline does not arise, and one only obtains good conduct. Where various sūtras speak of obtaining the precepts, these are words of skillful induction.
