論「一切染心至流至此中」，釋雜穢語。於中有二釋：一切染心所發諸語名雜穢語，染心所發皆是雜穢。唯前「語」字流至此中。解義、不誤與前不同，前人不解、誤亦成故。此則前之三語通有二名，離前三語唯名雜穢。

On the Śāstra's statement: "All words uttered with a defiled mind... flows into this context": Explaining idle chatter. In this there are two explanations: All words uttered with a defiled mind are called idle chatter; anything uttered with a defiled mind is idle chatter. Only the preceding word "speech" flows into this context. Understanding the meaning and being without error are different from before, because even if the other person does not understand or is mistaken, it is still constituted. Thus the preceding three types of speech generally possess two names; apart from the preceding three types of speech, it is solely named idle chatter.
