17.164

「論曰至名為業障」，出障體也。「惡心出佛身血」者，謂殺心；若作打心，不成逆也。此五逆業，破僧，妄語。出佛身血，殺加行。餘殺根本，廣如五逆釋。

From 'The Śāstra says' to 'are called karmic obstacles': This identifies the essential nature of the obstacles. 'With evil intent causing the Tathāgata’s body to bleed' means with a mind intending to kill; if one has merely the intent to strike, it does not constitute an immediate retribution (ānantarya). Among these five acts of immediate retribution, causing a schism in the Saṃgha is false speech. Causing the Tathāgata’s body to bleed is the preliminary application (prayoga) of killing. The remaining three are the fundamental acts (maula) of killing, as explained at length under the five acts of immediate retribution.
