論「或造此業至名無間」，第二釋也。前約業招其果無有間隔，後就假者證此生無間定墮地獄。俱是中間無隔，故名無間。

On the Śāstra's statement, 'Or, having performed this karma... is called immediate': This is the second explanation. The former is in terms of the karma inducing its fruit without any interval; the latter is in terms of the provisional person realizing that immediately after this life they will determinately fall into hell. In both cases there is no intermediate interval, hence it is called 'immediate.'
