18.130

論「或有諸業至例此應思」，明輕重相也。或有唯由後起成重，如盜佛，得已供養，後起即輕；得已銷鑄，其罪即重根本。餘文可解。

Regarding the Śāstra's "There may be karmas..." down to "...one should reflect by analogy in this way": this explains the characteristics of lightness and heaviness. There may be karmas that become heavy solely due to the subsequent action (pṛṣṭha); for instance, stealing a Buddha [image]—if, after obtaining it, one makes offerings, the subsequent action is light; if, after obtaining it, one melts it down, the sin is heavy in its fundamental action (maula). The remaining text is easy to understand.
