論「為唯見隨眠」，已下第二明七、九慢也。頌中上一句明七、九慢，次一句明二斷，下兩句引例釋。長行中有三節：一釋七慢、二釋九慢、三明二斷。

On the Śāstra's words, "Is it only the view-anusayas...": The second part below explains the seven and nine prides (māna). In the verse, the first line explains the seven and nine prides, the second line explains the two kinds of abandonment, and the lower two lines cite examples to explain. In the prose there are three sections: first, explaining the seven prides; second, explaining the nine prides; third, clarifying the two kinds of abandonment.
