論「有愛一分至大龍王等」，釋有愛一分也。謂愛勝畜生等身，此緣修所斷，是修所斷。聖人必不生惡趣愛，故亦不行。言即顯一切聖人不生惡處。

On the Śāstra's statement: 'A fraction of craving for existence... to... great nāgarājas, and so forth': This explains a fraction of craving for existence. It refers to craving the bodies of superior animals and so forth; this takes what is abandoned by cultivation as object and is abandoned by cultivation. Noble ones definitely do not give rise to craving for miserable realms, so it is also not practiced. The word 'and so forth' shows that no noble ones are born in miserable realms.
