論「謂若有法至非所緣隨增」，釋初義也。先喻、後法。境如其衣，濕同愛等，埃塵如惑。

The Śāstra states: "Namely, if there is a phenomenon... does not increase in accordance with respect to the object." This explains the first reason, first with an analogy, then the application. The object is like the garment, moisture is like attachment, and dust is like the defilement.
