論「聖道涅槃至足不隨住」，釋第二義，先法、後喻。石喻其境，足喻隨眠。
The Śāstra states: "The noble path and nirvāṇa... the foot does not adhere." This explains the second reason, first the application, then the analogy. The rock illustrates the object, and the foot illustrates the latent defilement.
