論「謂不染法非六生色定非見斷」，立宗。「其異生性是不染污無記性攝」者，出所以也。見所斷性是自性斷，不染污無記是所緣斷也。

The Śāstra says: "Namely, non-defiled phenomena, and rūpa not produced by the six [consciousnesses], are definitely not abandoned by vision." This establishes the thesis. "Its nature as an ordinary worldling is subsumed under non-defiled neutral nature" gives the reason. That which is abandoned by vision is abandoned by self-nature, whereas non-defiled neutral phenomena are abandoned via cognitive object.
