20.172

論「如是已顯至各有五」，此示體多少也。欲界三十六隨眠，除五無明、十二種見，總除十七，餘有十九，并十纏，總有二十九物，名欲瀑流。上二界隨眠六十二，除十無明、二十四見，餘有二十八物，名有瀑流。三界各十二見，合有三十六物，為見瀑流。三界十五無明，為無明瀑流。

Regarding the treatise's statement from "This has already revealed" to "each has five": This demonstrates the quantity of their intrinsic natures. Among the thirty-six anuśayas of the desire realm, excluding the five ignorances and twelve views, seventeen are removed in total, leaving nineteen; together with the ten entrapments, there are twenty-nine entities in total, called the flood of desire. Among the sixty-two anuśayas of the upper two realms, excluding the ten ignorances and twenty-four views, there remain twenty-eight entities, called the flood of existence. The three realms each have twelve views, totaling thirty-six entities, which constitute the flood of views. The fifteen ignorances of the three realms constitute the flood of ignorance.
