20.70

論「豈彼不許至密說為有」，經部通經也。過去造業之時，熏相續中有與果功能，現在身中密說已成能熏為有。

The Śāstra says: "Do they not accept... implicitly said to exist?": the Sautrāntikas resolve the sūtra. At the time when karma is performed in the past, it perfumed the continuum with the capacity to give fruit, and within the present body it is implicitly said that the perfuming that has already occurred 'exists'.
