論「斷未來惑至云何說斷」，論主難也。若令不生名之為斷，應唯斷未來，如何亦斷過去？
In the treatise, "Abandoning future defilements […] how can one speak of abandonment?" is the treatise master's objection. If causing them not to arise is called abandonment, one should only abandon the future; how can one also abandon the past?
