21.47

論「此垢及纏為何所斷」，此下大文第三義門分別。就中有五：一三斷：二三性：三三界：四六識：五五受相應。此一頌三斷分別也。

On the passage in the treatise, "By what are these impurities and entanglements abandoned?": from here down is the third major section, analytical classification according to doctrinal categories. Within this, there are five [analyses]: first, by the three abandonments; second, by the three natures; third, by the three realms; fourth, by the six consciousnesses; fifth, by association with the five feelings. This single verse is the classification by the three abandonments.
