論「又彼經說至說四識住」，即彼經說置地界中，此即別名說四識住。彼五種子置地界中，喻五取識四識住也。此即煩惱及識四蘊取識為因，非唯是愛。

On the Śāstra's 'Furthermore, that sūtra states [...] states the four stations of consciousness': That is, that sūtra speaks of placing them in the earth element; this is another designation for the four stations of consciousness. Those five seeds being placed in the earth element is a metaphor for the fivefold consciousness with grasping and the four stations of consciousness. This means that afflictions and consciousness take the four aggregates as their cause, not merely craving.
