22.55

論「道諦非苦至眾苦盡故」，論主引餘師釋也。聖道雖是無常，能引眾苦盡故，不違聖心不名為苦。所以得知是餘師釋，《正理論》云「有餘師言：聖道非苦，以能違逆是苦相故。非聖道起違逆聖心，由此能令眾苦盡故。」

On the Śāstra's statement, "The Truth of the Path is not suffering... because of bringing all suffering to an end": The author of the Śāstra cites the explanation of other masters. Although the noble path is impermanent, because it can bring all suffering to an end, it does not conflict with the noble mind and is not called suffering. The reason we know this is the explanation of other masters is that the *Nyāyānusāra* says: "Other masters say: The noble path is not suffering, because being in conflict is the characteristic of suffering. It is not that the arising of the noble path conflicts with the noble mind, because it can bring all suffering to an end."
