論「言初果者至必初得故」，釋初果名。言「必初得者」，簡超越第二第三果也。彼雖初得，非必定初故。

On the passage of the treatise from "The term 'first fruit'" to "because it must be attained first": This explains the name 'first fruit'. The statement "because it must be attained first" excludes those who leap over to the second and third fruits. Although those [fruits] are attained first by them, they are not necessarily first [in the sequence of fruits].
