論「若先已斷至此第二故」，已斷六、七、八品，十五心中立第二果向，向第二果故。「遍得果中第二果故」者，超越得者雖初得果，遍得果中是第二故。

On the passage of the treatise from "If one has previously abandoned" to "this is the second": For those who have already abandoned six, seven, or eight categories, within the fifteen minds one establishes them as 'approaching the second fruit', because they are tending toward the second fruit. The statement "because among the fruits attained everywhere, this is the second fruit" means that although one who attains by leaping over attains this fruit first, among the fruits attained everywhere throughout the sequence, it is the second.
