23.31

論「此法如煖至故名為煖」，釋煖名也。無漏道諦猶如於火燒煩惱薪。至此位初得火前相，故名為煖法。

[On] the treatise's: "This dharma is like heat... therefore it is named Heat", this explains the name 'Heat'. The undefiled truth of the path is like fire burning the fuel of afflictions. Reaching this stage, one first attains the precursor sign of fire; therefore it is named the dharma of Heat.
