23.40

論「諸先所得至欽重心故」，此釋曾得不重起也。《正理論》云「以勝加行引此善根，故已得中不生欽重。然此頂法雖緣四諦，緣三寶信多分現行。」

[On] the treatise's: "Because of the absence of a mind of reverence... toward all that was previously attained", this explains that what was previously attained is not aroused again. The Nyāyānusāra says: "Because one induces this root of good through superior preliminary practice, one does not give rise to reverence toward what has already been attained. However, although this dharma of Summits takes the four truths as objects, faith taking the Three Jewels as objects is predominantly active."
