論「初三近分至非即近分」，明初、二、三定不定，上五定入根本。

On the Śāstra's statement: "The first three preparatory stages up to are not immediately the preparatory stages": This clarifies that the first, second, and third dhyānas are not fixed, whereas the upper five definitely enter the fundamental [stages].
