論「異生不能至非真沙門」，釋異生非沙門也。《正理論》云「由此異生雖能已斷無所有處染，而非真沙門，以諸過失尚有餘故，暫時靜息非究竟故。」

The treatise says: 'Ordinary worldlings are incapable, up to: they are not true śramaṇas'—this explains why ordinary worldlings are not śramaṇas. The Nyāyānusāra states: 'Therefore, although an ordinary worldling may have already severed the defilements of the stage of nothingness, they are not a true śramaṇa, because faults still remain and the pacification is temporary, not ultimate.'
