論「於四果位至故佛不說」，准此論文，唯此四位及練根者，有此五因，餘位無也，由此練根亦名得果。

The treatise says: 'At the stage of the four fruits, up to: hence the Buddha did not speak of them'—according to this text of the treatise, only these four stages and those who train their faculties possess these five causes, while other stages do not; therefore, training faculties is also called obtaining a fruit.
