24.20

論「依不還位諸契經中」，自此下明不還差別。於中有七：一明七種不還、二明九種不還、三明七善士趣、四明非上界、五明雜修、六明淨居、七明身證。此兩頌，第一明七不還也。

The commentary states: "In various sūtras relying on the stage of the non-returner…" From here down clarifies the distinctions among non-returners. Therein are seven points: first, clarifying the seven kinds of non-returners; second, clarifying the nine kinds of non-returners; third, clarifying the destinations of the seven virtuous persons; fourth, clarifying not [passing into] the higher realms; fifth, clarifying miscellaneous cultivation; sixth, clarifying the Śuddhāvāsa; seventh, clarifying bodily realization. These two verses are the first, clarifying the seven non-returners.
