24.25

論「有行般者至無速進道故」，釋有行也。由此唯有勤修道故，名為有行。復由無有速進道故，在生般後。

The commentary states: "Attaining parinirvāṇa with exertion means … because of having no path of swift progress," which explains attaining parinirvāṇa with exertion (sābhisaṃskāra-parinirvāyin). Because this [practitioner] possesses only the path of diligent cultivation, it is called 'with exertion'. Furthermore, because of lacking the path of swift progress, it is placed after attaining parinirvāṇa upon rebirth.
