25.10

論「此從學位見至姓生」，釋本名也。前時解脫，先說從生、後說異名；不時解脫，先說異名、後說從生者，作頌文便。

On the passage of the treatise: “This is born from the lineage of attainment of view in the trainee stage”: this explains the original designation. As for the earlier temporary liberation, it first stated what it is born from and then stated the alternative name; whereas for non-temporary liberation, it first stated the alternative name and then stated what it is born from, for the convenience of poetic meter.
