論「道亦名為菩提分法」，已下第三，頌明菩提分法。於中有六：一舉數釋名、二出體性、三釋念住等、四明增位前後、五明漏無漏別、六明依地有異。此一行頌，第一舉數釋名。

On the Śāstra's "The path is also named bodhipakṣadharma": the following third [section] is a verse explaining the bodhipakṣadharmas. Within this there are six [topics]: first, citing the number and explaining the name; second, presenting their essential nature; third, explaining the applications of mindfulness and so forth; fourth, explaining the sequence of advancing stages; fifth, explaining the distinction between sāsrava and anāsrava; sixth, explaining the differences based on grounds. This one verse is the first, citing the number and explaining the name.
