On the Śāstra's "Or for the sluggish … swift is the opposite": this explains that the names sluggish and swift derive from the person, not the path. The Nyāyānusāra says: "This progress has the five skandhas or four skandhas as its nature, according to the distinction between concentrations of form and the formless. Its designation as 'progress' is to highlight the preeminence of wisdom, uniquely establishing the name 'vision'. Just as near the path of seeing, all conventional knowledge and the diamond-like samādhi also have the five skandhas or four skandhas as their essence, yet establish the name 'samādhi of marks'."
