論「經言學位成就八支」，已下第五明正智、解脫。於中有四：一明正智時、二明解脫時、三明道斷障時、四明斷離義。此兩行頌，第一門也。

[On the passage of] the śāstra, "The sūtra says that the position of a learner accomplishes eight limbs," from here down is the fifth section, clarifying right knowledge (samyagjñāna) and liberation (vimokṣa). Within this there are four: first, clarifying the time of right knowledge; second, clarifying the time of liberation; third, clarifying the time when the Path severs obstacles; fourth, clarifying the meaning of severing and dispassion. These two lines of verse form the first topic.
