25.77

論「然彼乃至至容起煩惱」，有部立前乃至於行住時由失容起煩惱。有學說故無有失，後成無學即無退義。

On the Śāstra's statement: "However, up to that point ... it is possible for defilements to arise": The Sarvāstivādin posits that up to that point, when walking or standing, defilements could arise due to lapses. Because this is spoken with respect to trainees, there is no error; later, when one becomes an adept, there is no falling away.
