論「又唯此三至餘三不爾」，重釋也。神變令於佛法歸伏、他心令信受、教誡令修行，由此三通得名示導。

The Śāstra states: "Moreover, only these three … the other three are not so." This explains it again. Miracles cause one to submit to the Buddha-Dharma; [knowing] others' minds causes one to believe and accept; admonition causes one to engage in practice. On account of this, these three supernormal powers obtain the name of guidance.
