論「行復三種至得意勢名」，分別行為三，意勢最勝。如舉意緣時，此行亦爾，故名意勢。

The Śāstra states: "Locomotion is further of three kinds … it receives the name of 'mental velocity'." This distinguishes locomotion into three kinds, of which mental velocity is the most supreme. Just as when one raises a thought toward an object, this motion is likewise, hence it is called mental velocity.
