27.8

論「二業意熟至謂除滅道」，出第二力體。《正理論》云「謂善分別如是類業感如是類諸異熟果無罣礙智，名業異熟智力。或說名為自業智力，謂善分別如是類果是自所造業力所招，非妻子等所能與奪；如是類業必招自果，不可貿易，無罣礙智名自業智力。」

[On the passage in] the treatise, "The second, ripening of karma... means excluding [the knowledges of] cessation and the path": This presents the intrinsic nature of the second power. The Nyāyānusāra says: "Unobstructed knowledge that properly distinguishes such types of karma as producing such types of fruitions of ripening is called the knowledge-power of the ripening of karma. Alternatively, it is called the knowledge-power of one's own karma, meaning unobstructed knowledge that properly distinguishes such types of fruition as brought about by the power of one's own created karma and cannot be given or taken away by wives, children, and so forth; that such types of karma inevitably bring about their own fruits and cannot be traded—this is called the knowledge-power of one's own karma."
