論「若爾此應至此即信根」，有部與經部出過。若謂無尋、伺故名內等淨，此即內淨無體，如何得說十一實事？破也。「是故應說此即信根」，歸有部正義也。

On the Śāstra's phrase: "If so, this should be [...] this is precisely the faculty of faith": the Sarvāstivādin points out an error to the Sautrāntika. If you say that the absence of vitarka and vicāra is called internal tranquility, this means internal tranquility has no substantial entity (dravya); how then could one speak of eleven real entities? Thus it refutes [them]. "Therefore it should be said that this is precisely the faculty of faith (śraddhendriya)" returns to the Sarvāstivādin's correct doctrine.
