論「即依此義至為問亦爾」，此問淨定有由離染得，亦由離染捨。有由生得，後由生捨。
The passage of the śāstra from 'Relying precisely on this principle...' down to '...the question is also like this' asks: the pure attainment has acquisition through detachment from defilement and also abandonment through detachment from defilement; it has acquisition through rebirth and subsequently abandonment through rebirth.
