論「若於染淨至從染生淨」，問也。味定是貪與無明俱，不能了知染、淨之相，如何於下淨定生尊重故生下淨也？

The passage of the śāstra 'If regarding defiled and pure... gives rise to the pure from the defiled' is a question. The relished attainment is accompanied by greed and ignorance, and cannot comprehend the marks of defiled and pure; how could it give rise to the pure of the lower stage out of respect for the pure attainment of the lower stage?
