論「謂命終時至生一切染」,明生得淨與定不同也。若生得善心命終,通生二界中有結生心及無色生有,此心唯是染,故生一切染也。

The passage of the śāstra from 'Namely, at the time of death...' down to '...gives rise to all defiled' clarifies that the pure acquired by birth is different from the meditative. If one dies with a wholesome mind acquired by birth, it generally gives rise to the conception-linking mind in the intermediate existence of the two realms and the birth-existence of the formless realm; this mind is solely defiled, and therefore gives rise to all defiled.
