論「修超等至唯人三洲」，述依身及處也。所以人中不簡無根、二形等，以是聖人，不勞簡故。所以言人者，簡天也。

[On] the śāstra's: "Cultivating the leaping attainment (samāpatti) is only in the three continents of humans": This explains the physical support (āśraya) and location. The reason it does not exclude those without faculties, of dual sex, etc., among humans is that they are noble persons (ārya), so there is no need to exclude them. The reason it says 'humans' is to exclude the devas.
