論「此定具有至苦通行攝」，述中間定具三異近分，捨受同近分也。

[On] the śāstra's: "This concentration fully possesses ... is subsumed under the painful path of practice (duḥkhā pratipat)": This explains that the intermediate concentration possesses all three, differing from the preparatory stage, while its feeling of equanimity is the same as the preparatory stage.
