論「若謂即於至因煖觸故」，就實火破也。若八微同聚，煖觸是火，餘七是薪。煖觸與七體、相各異，別因俱而生，如何可言依薪立火？已上破火體不依薪也。亦非此火名因薪而立，以立火名因煖觸故。已上破火名不依薪也。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If you mean that precisely within […] due to the tactile sensation of warmth": This refutes in terms of real fire. If eight subtle atoms congregate together, the tactile sensation of warmth is fire, and the other seven are fuel. The tactile sensation of warmth and the seven differ in both entity and characteristics; arising together from distinct causes, how can it be said that fire is established dependent on fuel? The above refutes the fire-entity not depending on fuel. Nor is this fire's name established due to fuel, because the establishment of the name 'fire' is due to the tactile sensation of warmth. The above refutes the fire's name not depending on fuel.
