論「又彼所說至亦可了」，論主重審定破了我時也。眼識識色，因茲知有補特伽羅。為因了色方了有我，為了色時亦了於我。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Moreover, as for what they say […] is also cognised": The author closely re-examines to refute the timing of cognising the self. Visual consciousness cognises form, and because of this, one knows there is a pudgala: is it that only after cognising form does one cognise that there is a self, or is it that at the time of cognising form one also cognises the self?
